"Why do you want to resign now??", My General Manager asked me as I handed him the resignation letter.
"I need to go back to my home due to some personal reasons", I said
"Ok. I'll give you a solid 6 months break. You go back, look into them and come back again"
"Sorry Sir, I want to quit. I want to leave permanently. Mr.Asif has accepted to fill in my duties until you find someone for my place"
"That will be taken care of! But Think well. It is not easy to get a job like this and if you resign, you are going to miss something good."
"I already missed a lot of better things in my life. I want to quit"
"What do you mean?"
"It's personal sir. Please accept my resignation"

“I understand that you are in some stress. Don’t be haste. You might regret your decision in the future”

“I won’t Sir. I may regret if only I stay away from my home”
"Look Mr. ###....."

My GM tried his level best to convince me but he failed!

"Ok..Ok..I give up!!So when are you planning to leave??” he asked
"I already booked tickets and I am leaving tonight"
"Tonight????You are impossible...”
"Yes sir. Please do complete all the formalities as soon as possible"
"You are making a big mistake"
"I don't think so! I’m counting this as one of my best and right decisions!”
"...well, it’s your wish then. Good luck. I’ll do all my bests to release you from this project by this evening"
"Thanks a lot sir. I hope I had delivered my best at work in these 8 months"
"Of course, you did and that is why I don't want you to leave"
"I’m helpless. I need to go back to my home"
By evening, I was released from my project. My GM signed my resignation letter and I completed all the formalities and got ready to travel!

I looked out through the window glass. Chennai was materializing down there as my flight was proceeding to land. Chennai, a heaven where I’ll find all my loved ones!

"Welcome to Chennai International Airport", said the crew member.

I didn’t hear the rest of the words as my mind swirled with the thoughts from the time I left this dear place, the people that I saw here last, “Will I see all of them now..Why all...Will Swathi be there” the love I had then, the pain I’m having now… thoughts that I held back since we broke up came back gushing into my mind.

“God..How I left this place… And how differently am returning now” I thought and tears came running down my eyes.

I know my eyes would be red. I went to restroom and washed my face!
"What am I going to answer if everyone asks me about my sudden resignation? What will I tell mom and dad", I thought!

I came out of the airport. It was 9A.M and I found my parents, friends, Lavanya, Varsha waiting for me!

I was surprised, but deep down my heart I was expecting.

“Hi mom… dad… hey guys… And Varsha, Laavi… Hi all… Thanks for coming...I missed you all too much that I took the next flight and came here” I said with an artificial smile!!
"What happened da???” That was the first thing my mom asked.
Silence…
“I’m asking you. What happened there?? You don't like the place or was it your job???”

Silence again…

"Where the people good over there???” she was asking all kind of questions!
"Mom, Nothing like that. I’m here.. Let’s go home soon"
It was dad’s turn now.
"Are you alright???” my dad asked me a single question!
"Dad, I’m perfectly alright”, I told him!

My mind made a mental calculation of the number of persons there and the average number of questions I will have to answer.
”God...give me the strength to sound normal” I made a mental prayer.
I walked towards my friends expecting something emotional since they knew everything.

“Dude...How was the air hostesses this time?” Rahul said.
“Even an old lady will look like a beauty to him after being in Saudi da” chuckled Arjun.

Boys are boys…What will the world be without boys!!

"Annaaaa", Lavanya called me.

"Hey buddy..Are you fine??", Varsha asked me
"Hey Laaviii, you gained lot of weight in these 8 months! Part of your pre marriage plans huh?", I smiled.
“Varsha, you are still the same. No change at all!!” I said.
She smiled back.
"Nothing like that. Are you ok?This should've never happened to you and Swathi . She is an awesome girl. You both would have made an admirable pair"
"It all happened Laavi! Nothing to think about that now", I told her!
"....Anna"
"Please don't talk about that Laavi and for God's sake, mom is here. I don’t want her to know anything about Swathi."
"...Hmmm"

I stared at Varsha now.
"I am not going to talk about Swathi now. Go to home and have some good time with mom ! Call me whenever you are free", Varsha said
"Sure. Let’s leave"

My dad and the guys were already walking towards the car with the luggage. I followed them holding my mom's hand! My mom was crying!
"Mom, you were crying when I left you! Now I came back to you and why do you want to cry again???” I asked her.
"I know you are hiding. There is some problem for you "

“God..Mothers are the best“I thought.
"There is nothing mom. Don't confuse yourself", I told her
Somehow I felt better, a lot better than the last few days.

Three months passed....

“I am worried.You are not normal", my dad started the conversation in the dining table.
“Nothing dad. Am good” I said.

“What are you planning now about your job?”This is the first time my dad mentioned about my job after my arrival to India.
"I have no idea dad. Planning to try for some job in Chennai",I answered.
"Shall I talk to Kumar uncle??He knows some persons in L&T. Your 8 month experience in Saudi will be helpful too", he said
"I'll try myself dad. If nothing works out, I'll come back to you"
"Hmmm, That’s good. Start working on it"
"I'll dad"

“Dad..I’m lying to you dad.Am not normal.Am feeling lost. Guide me like you used to when I was a kid. I’m missing all those times dad” I was thinking as we finished the rest of the dinner silently.

My mom went to bed while me and dad were watching tv.I was also about to leave when my dad spoke

“Feeling sleepy son? I remember you staying awake late nights a lot of times”
“No dad, Not sleepy but no interest!”
“Let’s talk then. I’m missing all those times when we all stayed together”I heard my feelings from my dad’s mouth.

I sat opposite to him.
" Why can't you shave????You look so dull and old with that bushy beard. You look like how I’m now"
“You look good and so I must be also looking good dad “I smiled.
He smiled back.
"I saw you yesterday in bus stand"
"Oh, when dad??” I asked him.
"Yesterday evening”

“I was with Rahul dad”
“But I didn’t see him. And I saw you smoking”
"......."
“I never knew you smoked. From when did you get hold of this habit?”
“Dad,No issues.I rarely smoke”
“Yes,I saw that day and understood that you rarely smoke and if you do, you smoke 3 at a time”
“……”
"What happened to you?? What's your problem?? Why are you spoiling yourself??"
"I’m sorry dad"
"Promise me that you will not smoke here after"
"I promise. I'll will not. And I’m sorry too”
"Don’t be sorry. But please take care my son.”

“Dad, I’ll”

“I know you have some problem and you came back to us because of that. I’m not going to ask you anything. Whatever the problem , I understand that it has become worst and it can’t worsen anymore. Its over.Try to come over it and rock on! I know you can do it"

I kept quiet without knowing what to reply!
"Am really sorry dad"
"Don't ask sorry again. Try to apply for the job as soon as possible and please shave. Good Night”
He left to bed.
I sat there smiling and that was after a long time! I felt some great change in me! Those few words from my dad boosted me so much that I slept peacefully that night!!

Next morning, I went to barber shop, trimmed my hair, shaved my beard! My face looked very bright and I loved it!
"Is that youuuuuuuu?????" My mom was surprised seeing me!
"Of course mom", I smiled!
"Clean shave, full of smiles. I’m so happy my dear", she said holding my hands.
"You’ll always be happy hereafter mom", I said her and went to bath.

"Come soon da, I have a surprise for you", I heard my mom while I was bathing.
"What's that??"
"You first take bath and come", she smiled again!!

....

"Wow, So you both are my surprise????", I said to Laavanya and Varsha. They were in my home!!
"Ha ha.Your mom’s plan", Varsha smiled!
"We were worried about you. From what mom told us now, all our worries gone", Varsha told
"You should thank my dad for that"
"Dad???"
"Of course, my dad.Dont ask me why.” I said!
"That’s great da Anna. I am happy for you and you look cool after this complete shave", Lavanya said
"And its great to see you both too. Thanks for coming", I said!
"Don't mention that anna. We are happy that we came lese we would have missed seeing you like this", Lavanya replied
"I promise. I’ll be like this only hereafter"
Both of them smiled.
"Did you speak to Swathi after that????", Varsha asked me
"...Nope", my face turned a little dull.
"Okie. Let us not discuss it anymore"
"Hmmmm" .

We went to my room.

"What hmmm?? Idiot, where is my photo?? You told like you will be keeping it in your bed place??Varsha asked me
"I do remember Varsha and I think you didn't see the table back of you"
She turned and found her photo on the table!
Varsha just smiled!
"Don't smile Varsha, I am going mad", I smiled
"Dude, even after all this things, I don’t find any change in you. You are so cool even now", she said.
I just smiled for a reply!

They both stayed with me for the whole day and in the evening Arjun, Rahul, Mani, Syed also joined them. Everyone was talking on casual topics. As I sat there in between them, I felt so fresh and relieved. I know I belonged here and I was back to normal!!

"People come in to your life for some reason. Some stay. Some don’t. Swathi came, showed me what love as well pain is and these girls came and are staying with me through all this pain", I thought!

The next day, I started applying for jobs and after couple of months, I got selected in one of the reputed construction company in India!
Life started to move on for me from then....

6 years later.....

"I’m tensed honey. I hope everything will be fine", Sameena told me holding my hand!

Me and Sameena have been married for the last 20 months. She is a lovable wife and a wonderful companion in my life! We are expecting our baby today!

"Don't worry, you will be fine” I assured her.
"I want you to stay with me here", she said!
"Where do you think I’ll go other than the place you are”, I said smilingly.

She blushed and said “There is a place. Wherever your lappie and your blog is there. Last one month you were impossible”

“It was because my post was about some special people. You know everything about Swathi and You also know how much Laavi and Varsha mean to me and my dear, it was you who suggested the topic”

“I know my dear. Hope there were only these 3 girls” She smiled across those tensed moments.

“Definitely not…”I started to answer but she tightened her grip over my hand. The pain must have increased!
"Doctorrrr", I shouted.
But everything happened so fast. She was having so much pain and was screaming.
"I can’t dear, its paining", Sameena shouted.

I started feeling tensed.
"Nothing Sameena, I am there with you. Bear everything for our baby", I got hold of her hands tightly!!

After some tough time, she delivered a beautiful girl baby!!

"Sameena, its a girl", I said with full of joy looking at the little doll the doctor was having.
She smiled back, but went unconsious immediately!
Doctor assured me that it was normal and I was jumping inside the operation theatre.I was asked to wait outside.

"Its a girl baby mom", I went out and hugged my dad and mom!! Sameena’s parents wished me.
I was not able to control my happiness!!

"So the doctor told that you will be discharged today", I told Sameena .
"That's fine dear", she replied
"I love u soo much", I said kissing on her forehead.
"I love you tooo", Sameena smiled!
“Aunty was having tears while seeing our baby. How wrong I was thinking that my mom was the most emotional person here”Sameena said.
"Lavanya was wishing me.God, she was so excited and the usual non stop", Sameena was talking about the phone call she had with Laavi.
"You know how she is. She’ll be in India by next week with her hubby. Seems like her hubby's project got over and they will be settling here in chennai. She can’t wait to see our little girl", I smiled!
"Oh, she is coming back. That’s good.What about Varsha??"
"Varsha screemed like a kid on phone after I told her about the kid.You were sleeping then.She said she will call again in sometime. She had asked me to mail me the pics."
"Hmmm, when is she coming back from Singapore???I haven't seen her after our marriage"
"She will be coming back next year I guess. Thomas will be getting promotion next year and after that, he too will be posted in Chennai"

"Thank God. These girls will be a great company to me if they come to Chennai.Speaking of company, you didn’t say anything about your guys, Arjun, Rahul and all"
"Oyeee, You didn’t notice all these dolls and balloons in this room or what? I thought you would have understood . You were sleeping but our little angel was awake and they were playing with her. It was tough making them to stay silent since you were sleeping", I chuckled.
"Ahh, I understand now. You guys are always cool."

"I forgot to ask Laavi about the blog. Actually she didn’t give me a chance to talk. Did you ask Varsha and Laavi about it???"
"Ha ha, how will I miss it. There comments in the post said it all.But both were curious about your reaction"
Sameena smiled!!

"Shall I tell them that you smiled??” I asked her
"Tell them that I love you more after this blog. You’ve completed the blog successfully . Congrats honey", Sameena smiled again!
"You're my best Sameena but I left something in my post", I told her as I kissed on her forehead!

"I finished it. But still, there are two more girls in my life about whom I had not mentioned anywhere in the blog", I said
"Honey, this is not fair, who are they??" she asked smilingly. I know she understood what I was saying.

"Swathi, Varsha, Lavanya..they all came in to my life. Made my life beautiful. But they all came for a season and now are busy with their own lives"
"Hmmm",She smiled again.

"But now I have two more girls, who made my life meaningful and made my life worth it"
"Interesting...who are they???",she smiled mischieviously.

“Its you Sameena from the day I met you and now our little girl!!” I said looking into her eyes.
"That’s dame sweet. I know it", Sameena smiled!

“I know you that” I smiled back.
"Know what, I can’t wait for the day she will call me daddy", I continued!!

Sameena smiled!!

"You showed me what true love is all about Sameena. I love you so much.I love you for everything ."
Sameena didn’t reply and continued to smile!!

"Take some rest. We will leave to our home this evening after mom and dad comes", I told her as she started to sleep!!

I got up from that place and went near the craddle!!

I spent almost half a day to set up my lappie and the internet!!

"Internet....Without it, you will go mad in this country dude", I thought!
And after setting up everything, I called my home!!

"How was the journey??, Howz the city?? How about the climate??? How is your room and other things???"lot of Hows?? from my mom!
"Everything is ok ma. I feel like am in home"
"Hmmm"
"What about your company?? Will they allow you to come back home once in a year atleast??"

"Mom, what is this??. Its been just a day I came here and you're asking about my vacation"
"..Hmmmm"
"Dont worry ma. See, we have internet. Whenever you want to see me, just give me a ring. I'll come online. Its not going to be a big deal"
"...Hmmmm"
"Mom..................."

It was hard convincing my mom but I succeeded!!

"How is she going to manage without you buddy??", I asked myself!

The best thing that happened to me after coming to Saudi was the days sped like anything.
It used to be like seconds before I woke up in the morning thinking that, I’ll be late to office and I will be already ready to go back to my room in the evening!

"Goooossssh, 8 months passed Varsha. Its still like yesterday I came here to Saudi. Thanks to internet.", I pinged Varsha as we both started to chat after a week.
"Yeah dude, even I feel the same"
"So, how was the trip??", I asked Varsha

"Trip was ok da, I was missing you actually"

"So howz Laavanya? How is her job in Infosys?? She is working for 4 months right?? Infy training..she would've got screwed I guess", Varsha said

I was waiting for my clock to tick 8pm and that will be 10.30pm in India. That is the time Lavanya used to come back to her hostel room from work

I was missing her badly after she joined work. She used to come back late from office. And whenever I call her, she will be sleeping.

Hoping that, she will be free, I called her and my call was on waiting.
I called her again after some 20 mins, and again the same waiting.

And after 10 minutes, she pinged me asking to call her!

"Annnaaaaa, I was talking to Prasad and I dint hear your call waiting"
"ok"
"Seri na..I’m damn tired and feeling sleepy. Let me sleep. Good night"

"Good night"

Thats it. She hanged the line!!

"Fuck that Prasad. He had stolen some precious time of mine. I could've told Lavanya about Swathi in this 30 minutes and this guy had spoiled everything. What the hell does he want?? calling her at this time.....idiot", I scolded him until my anger level and frustration reduced a bit. But even then, I dint get angry on Lavanya. That was something crazy!!

Just when I thought like, its just not enough scolding that guy, my mobile beeped and that was a text from Swathi!!

"CALL ME".

Just two words… I became tensed.

"God, everything should be fine on her side. I hope nothing is wrong", I prayed n called her!

"Am Sorry buddy", that was the first thing she told immediately after attending the call. She had just finished crying!I sensed from her voice.
"Hey Swathi. What happened?? Where were you all these days? I missed you to the core...No calls, no mails nothing..what happened???", I just can't stop asking with my questions…
"Am really sorry da", she started to cry! I had never heard Swathi crying like this!

Being thousands of miles apart from her and am hearing her crying on the phone.
"What happened Swathi?? Pls don't cry"

That was the only thing I was able to do while Swathi cried so much.\
“God,I’m useless” ..I thought!

“but I’m helpless too!”

She finally managed to stop crying after my desperate try to console her!

"Now tell me, what happened???"
"My mom came to know about our affair"

"So what did she tell?", I asked her

"Buddy, you know what, for the past two months I was trying to convince her"

"And in that situtation, I was left clueless"

"You know my brother’s marriage last year was a failure, just a month after his marriage. My dad and mom were almost half dead by then"
"And now, the way my mom reacts for our love, I just can't imagine how they will be if we stay stubborn in our decision", Swathi continued!

"Stay calm. Just chilldown and then decide", I said

"And now what this Hmmm means??", I asked Swathi as she started to cry again
"Please Swathi. I just cant bear to hear you crying like this"


"Am really sorry buddy. I am locked between my mom and love"
"I can understand Swathi. I told you na, stay calm. Stop crying. Then decide"

Just for a second, my heart skipped a beat.

"Please forgive me da. I cheated on you", she started crying again!

"Dont ever tell like that, I can understand your situation too and I respect your decision"

"To be frank, I don't know how to react Swathi. I love you and so I respect your decision too. That's all I can say"


She started to cry again!!

"Come on Swathi. There is no point in crying. Be happy. Take care of your mom and stay with her. That's the best thing we can do for them"
"I’m ashamed to see our friends now. They were all so much happy for us"

I tried to stop her from crying but I was not able to. She kept on crying and at somepoint, I heard her mom's voice and the line was disconnected abruptly!!

I looked around my room. Two of my colleagues were talking about something and I felt very uncomfortable to stay there. I took refuge in the bathroom and locked the door!

I started to cry and was not able to control.
I was crying for almost half an hour and heard someone knocking the door.
I looked at my face in the mirror. It was swollen!!

I washed my face and came out!

"Dude…half an hour..What were you doing inside…”,chuckled the guy.
"Nothing", I replied and went!

Midnight 1.30am.
I tried to sleep that night, but I wasn't able to.

"I never expected this Swathi. I love you to the core. Am mad about you. I dreamt my life with you. I wanna make love to you. And now after all theseI feel like its better to end up my life. I still respect your decision Swathi, but you left me empty and soulless"

I lost my control and bursted out again!! I remembered my friends who were there with us throughout and now the end has come.

I called Rahul. He dint pick the call.
I called Lavanya. She dint pick the call.
I called my home. None picked the call.

I threw my mobile in frustration!

"MOM… I NEED YOU…AM COMING BACK TO INDIA", I said myself!

"Bcoz now I can talk boldly about you to my parents. I have some valid point to support our future. They will have some hope on you"
"Is that the reason??"

"If I go to Saudi, who will take care of my mom??she will feel lonely here", I told her.

I was not able to console Lavanya as she was crying like a little kid!
"Come on Laavi, I am just going to Saudi. I can come back anytime when I need to come"

Hearing those words from Lavanya was like a boost for me and my worries about my mom reduced a bit at that moment.

"I won't be coming to airport"

The next three weeks, I spent my time with my mom to the fullest.
Lavanya came to my home. The big “Miss You” card she gave is still in my eyes!

Swathi promised me that she is going to give something special at the airport!
Varsha promised me that she will stay with me in the airport until I leave!

It was 5.30AM in the morning, and by the time I arrived at the airport, Swathi was waiting for me!


"When did you come???", I asked Swathi
"Just some 15 mins before da, you took all necessary things?? your certificates and all those stuffs???", she asked me

"Come on dear, am not a kid", I said

"Hmmm, so howz mom now??, is she alright??"
"Yeah, she was crying the whole night, but not now. She wants to send me off with a smile on her face"
"I am sorry da, just for my happiness, all these..."
"Don't ask sorry, its not just for your happiness, its for our happiness. so yeah.."

I checked my mobile for calls from Varsha and there wasn't any.

"Dude, you're checking for my sms or what??", I heard someone talking to me and it was varsha standing with a bright smile!!

"Varshaaaaaaaaaaaa…. That was a great surprise"
"You know I'll come. so wats so surprising??"

"I know you will come, but I never expected in this way"
"That's Varsha for you and here I've something special for you", Varsha gave me a card!

I opened the card!

"I will miss you. All the very best for your career and love. I hope You and Swathi will succeed in every step of your life together and this is the first step"

"I don't know what to say Varsha, I'll miss you tooo", I told her
"Idiot, this is not the place and time for sentiments"
"Okei. No more sentiments. And wait, I'll introduce you to Swathi"

"Be careful while you do that. Thinking about the way Swathi reacted for Lavanya, I have no clue on how she will react for me", Varsha told.

"She will be too good with you until I call you honey or sweetheart in front of her", I replied.
"You're crazy"
"Ofcourse", I smiled

I introduced Varsha to Swathi and after somepoint of time I just can't beleive my eyes when I saw two of the best girls in my life together in front of me!!

Time passed pretty fast and I dint spend anytime with Varsha and Swathi!!!

I was standing with my mom holding her hand!!
I was keeping on talking with her about everything and also nothing.

"Why can't you tell about Swathi now itself??", I thought!

I went to my friends who were busy looking at the girls in the airport

"Dei, am planning to tell my mom about Swathi now itself, what you guys say??"
"Oh really??, ok da. Its time for my office. I gotto leave. You go safe. Happy journey. Take care. Byeeeeeeeeeee", two of the guys replied immediately

"Idiots, What the fuck?"
"Idiot,You gonna fuck all of us… By telling your mom about Swathi now. After you leave we’ve to manage your dad and mom. Its better to leave rather than stay now. They believe us and after you tell them, they will surely think that we spoiled you"
"Ha ha ha, silly guys", I laughed

"This is not funny da fool, Dont ever do that"
"Do what??"
"Your telling about Swathi now…"

"Dei, Even if I tell them a year later, they will surely blame you guys"
"Thats fate da, none can change that. But let that fate be delayed. We don't want now"

Just a minute after I heard that check in has been started for my flight, Swathi called me to the front gate!

"Hey, whats up???
"I promised you to give something special right?? you forgot??", She smiled
"Ha ha, am curious. Whats that????", I asked her
"Close your eyes then"
"Hey, you are making me more curious, whats that??"
"I said na, close your eyes", she said as I closed my eyes in curiosity!

The next second, She kissed me on my lips in front of some 100 people!!
"I love you. Take care of your health. Do sleep on time and eat well. All the very best da. Come back soon! A girl named Swathi will be waiting for you. Just for you", she said!

I was standing speechless and almost everyone in the airport were seeing both of us!! They were speechless too!!

"Do react something buddy", her lips smiled but her eyes betrayed… She was crying.

"I love you and I don't know what to say"
"You need not to tell anything. We have to go back to the terminal or else these people around us will miss their flight watching us", she smiled!

"Yup, you have lotta guts", I told her!
"Yup, I do.. until and unless your dad n mom dont see anything like this", she smiled!

"Ha ha, thank God they didn’t see you kissing me", I smiled back and we both went to the terminal.

"Where did you go??", My dad asked me
"Swathi's friend came to meet me, Just went to the gate", I lied to my dad hoping that he didn’t see anything!


The next 10 minutes, everybody cried and I felt hard to see my mom.

"Dude, its time for you. Don't worry about mom. We are there to take care of her. You proceed with the formalities", my friend told me!

"Okie guys, I'll leave now. Take care. Will call you once I reach", I said
"Sure dude, take care. Bon Voyage, we will miss you.."

"Happy journey dude. Do call me after landing there", Varsha told

It was very difficult to bid goodbye to everyone but being choiceless, I left the place!

Just for a moment, I felt like I could see my mom n dad one more time and I turned back!

My mom was standing there holding my dad's hands trying to smile! But she wasn’t ..

"Sorry for hurting you mom. I really don't want to go but I have no other choice. Some say love is all about sacrifice and I am sacrificing now for my love.."


Swathi, Varsha and my friends were standing next to them!
I waved my hand and they waved their hand back!! They all smiled at me!!!

Am gonna miss them!!

"All set da, I vacated my room. Waiting for my brother to pick me up", Swathi texted me

"Annnnaaaaa, I am pretty eager to see my anni, and so I bunked my college today" Lavanya texted me
"Pattu, Be watchful with your words when you are talking to her", I replied her back. Pattu is how I used to call her and more importantly I used to call Swathi too the same way.
"I'll na", she replied

I was happy oneside because the two best girls in my life gonna meet each other, get to know about each other, but at the same time I was little bit worried about how Swathi gonna take Lavanya and her childish behaviour.

I dint text Lavanya after that.
I thought I could sleep for sometime and I switched off my mobile and slept.I hate people calling me when I am sleeping.

"Its time for lunch and you are still sleeping??", my mom shouted at me
"Am feeling sleepy maa, and I am not feeling hungry", I woke up and sat in the bed.
"Why can't you help me cleaning your room today??", my mom asked me
"Cleaning my room??, I'll clean it for myself. Why do you want to strain?", I told her
"Then start cleaning it. You room is like a garbage bin", she replied

"Dude, If you are not cleaning the room now, mom will start cleaning it. Its not a big deal but you just wont be able to safe hold all those love letters and greeting cards with Swathi's lip mark. If mom sees that, its going to be the end for you, so
act fast", I thought.

It took almost an hour for me to clean the room and just the moment I finished it, I remember my mobile and switched it on. I waited for sometime to check whether am receiving any text from Swathi or Lavanya, but I din't.

Losing my patience, I texted Lavanya

"Pattu, met Swathi???, howz she??"

"This is Swathi and I just wanted to ask you that how can you call her with the same name you used to call me??. I never expected this from you", I received a reply from Swathi the next minute.

What the fuck?????, I was expecting problems like this but not so soon.

"Anna, I was talking to Swathi and just showed her your text. She smiled after seeing it. She is sooo cool na, I just love her. She is an apt girl for you", Lavanya replied back

I was really clueless about how to react back but I just went mad about Lavanya and her innocense.
"She is the best and am not gonna lose her at any moment", I thought

I came to know about Varsha through my friend Bhargavi. The first thing I noticed when I saw her was her smile.
I saw Swathi in her smile! It was difficult to differentiate between both the smiles.

God, I literally saw Swathi in front of me!

"This is our first meet, I don't know anything much about you, but still, I want to tell you something Varsha", I said

"Ofcourse, it is a compliment, why do you doubt?"
"Nah nah, I just asked, I've seen many guys like you, some admired me and none had guts to express it and you are the first guy"

"Oh yea, I forgot, your sister", She replied in a way that anyone can understand that she dint like me being so close to Lavanya

"She got a roomie, her college mate"

Her number was Busy! Sometimes I feel pissed when Lavanya talks on phone with someone else when I call her. I even want to tell her the same, but I controlled myself! She always used to blabber on phone no matter even it is a wrong number and she never cared about my advise too!! But I never felt angry on her for whatever silly thing she did! Her love is the biggest reason for that.

"Whats up??", Swathi asked
"Her number is busy", I replied
"Hmmm, try later then, no harm"
"Cool. This zinger meal is awesome", I said!
"Yeah, even I love it"
"Hmmm"

"So what about your placements??", Swathi asked
"Ufffff, that's a big story Swathi, I chose to attend Caritor last week, but got out in the first round, what about you??", I asked her
"My placements are starting next month da and I was appointed as a placement co-ordinator", she replied

"Am not sure whether I will get enough time to prepare for my placement. This co ordinator tag will kill most of my time"

"I just called you to check about your hostel"
"My hostel? for what?"
"Swathi wants to stay there"

"Its not confirmed and first tell me, is there any vacant rooms there", I asked her

"Are you sure??"
"I am sure", she said!

"Enna na, having good time with anni huh??", Lavanya continued
"Oh, nothing like that"
"Dont lie na, I know!", she replied!

I saw swathi's face and it turned little red! I understood the situation and if I continue talking to Lavanya, Swathi will go wild.

"Okie lavi, we'll talk later", I tried to hang her line
"Dei anna, don't try to escape, tell me. Where are you?? What my anni is doing?, take some snaps na", Lavanya was non stop!
"Nothing Lavi, I'll call you later"
"Dei anna, what is this??, You are ignoring me when anni is with you", Lavanya laughed!

"I know anna, I was just kidding. Don't worry. I'll hang the line now. Have a good time with my anni! Convey my love to her. I love you soooo much, Mwaaaaahhhhh", Lavanya hanged the line!

"Thank god", I thought

"There are some rooms available it seems", I told swathi!
"I heard that"
"You heard??"
"Yeah, your lovable sister talks in a way that everyone around you can hear her", Swathi's voice changed a bit rough.

"I heard her telling about room vacancies, I heard her telling I love you and a sound after that, is that a Kiss??", Swathi asked me!

"That too when I am with you??"
"She is my sister dear. Why you want to compare you with her. You are totally different"
"I don't want to tell anything da, its up to you, I never said no to Lavanya, but still you have to make sure that our relationship is smooth", She said!
"I swear dear, You know how much I love you", I tried to bring some smile on her face and got succeeded!

"So let me go and check her hostel and if everything is well, I will join there", Swathi told!

"That's a good idea", I replied her and heard a message tone in my mobile and it was from Lavanya!

"Its just because, after four years, I want you to be in a good position so that it will be an advantage for me when I talk to my parents about you"

"Lavanya, my new sister", I smiled
"Who is she??"

Its always difficult to explain a girl about another girl and it took almost 1 hour for me to explain her about Lavanya starting from her Orkut friend request!

"Hmmmm, that's nice to hear, but make sure that your relationship with Lavanya will not harm our relationship in any way", she replied!

"Oops, she is getting ready for another fight or what??", I thought!

Its always better to keep your mouth shut when a angry women is shouting and I got mentally prepared for the same thinking about Swathi!

But to my surprise, she replied something different!

"That's OK dear, even I am going to Banglore with my parents. At the last moment, they are asking me to join them and I have no other choice"

"Hmmm, good! Go and come back safe. I'll miss you", I replied her
"I'll miss you too. Anna is sitting next to me, so don't text me", she replied!

18 months passed and love life tasted sweet for me!! We finished our Schooling too!

Swathi had become a part of my life! I had gone to a stage where, I thought that without her there is nothing for me in this world.

On a fine day, I got a call from my school telling that they are going to issue the mark sheet!

The next moment, I received an sms from Swathi!

"Tomorrow is the last day. I dunno when I'll meet you again and am gonna miss you badly. Do come to school soon, I'll be waiting for you at the roof top near water tank!"

As she said, even I am not sure that when I'll meet Swathi again as she is gonna join in a private college in Chennai and I had joined in a local college near by my home just to keep my mom happy!

If any guy is in love, its difficult to keep his mom and the girl, both happy at the same time! They have to sacrifice either one among them and am not ready to let my mom to miss me!

"I hate this", Swathi felt bad!

We both were sitting at the roof top with the mark sheets in our hand! For the past one year, we had spent most of our time here!!

I dint had my dinner that day. I shouted at my sister for no reason. Whatever I saw, it looked ugly for me for the first time after felling in love. I was not able to sleep. Without knowing what to do, I opened my lappie and logged in to orkut!

There were some three friend requests. Some two unknownn guys and before I could see the third person, my mobile pinged!

I got pissed and threwed my mobile and came back to Orkut again!

"Mom, am I looking bright today", I asked my mom as I sat with her for dinner
"You always look bright", my mom said!
"Hmmmm, so whats for dinner today", I asked her
"The thing which you hate, and you gotta eat it today", she said!
"There are nothing like I hate to eat mom, I love everything", I smiled!!
"Ha ha, is that my son talking to me??, I doubt", my mom smiled!
"Of course its me, am very happy today", I said!
"Be the same always", she replied!
"I'll be mom", I said!

"So here it is, bittergaurd, will you eat it??", she smiled again!
"Of course, I will", I replied her, as I put three spoons full of bittergaurd masala on my plate!

For the first time, bitterguard tasted sweet to me!!

"Huh, what happened to you??? I never expected this!!!", my mom said!
"What mom"
"How come you're eating that, I was just kidding with you that you gotto eat that, I had prepared a subji for you", she said!
"No need for subji mom, I love this", I smiled!
"Thats really good, Its good for your health! Your face will go bright!", she said!!
"Hmmm"
"So here after I'll cook bitterguard thrice in a week", she said!!
"Of course, you can", I told her without thinking about anything!!

10 minutes passed!!
I put three more spoons of bittergaurd!! It tasted awesome for me just at that moment!!

It was midnight 12.45!! Dad, mom and my sister were in deep sleep!!
But I was not able to sleep!! All those sweet bittergaurd started to work!! I started to burp and felt one of the worst bitter flavor inside me!

"Oh god, what is this??, am feeling horrible!!"

I got up from bed, started to walk inside the room!! I burped again! This time even bigger and the bitter taste gone worst!
I drunk some water! No use
I walked more faster! No use

And at last I ended up in vomiting!! All those Sweet bittergaurds came out!!

"Love is gonna screw you, that's for sure", I thought!!

I felt very relaxed after that, and came back to bed!!
"So here after I'll cook bitterguard thrice in a week", I remember what my mom told me!!
I lost my sleep again!!

"I've seen her some 15 minutes before da, but no idea bout where is she", he replied

"I saw Swathi near the staircase, she wants you to come there", he said!

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, felt tensed as if am the captain of a football team playing in world cup finals!

The next fifth minute, I was their in the staircase.

I saw Swathi standing there at the top. She saw me, but still acted like as if she dint notice me!!

I hate girls for this reason!

"Swathi", I called her!
"Hmmmm", she dint tell anything else.
"You called me???", I asked her
"Yeah",
"For what??"

"yeah", I replied!

I had been in to a new surrounding now, and though I found it odd in the beginning, I got in to deeply soon!!
"Dei, guys are waiting in the ground, just dump those fucking assignments and pack yar things, we gotto go", Rahul told me!
"Machi, Swathi had called me to auditorium, I gotto go, you guys carry on and please for god's sake don't tell this to anyone", I told him!
"Get lost", he told as he packed his things and went to ground!

SWATHI! Though i knew her for just half passed 6 months, she had become a part of my soul!! Thanks to the wonderful atmosphere in the new school!

I packed my things and started to walk towards auditorium!

Is wat am doing is right?? meeting a girl alone in a big campus is fair???, lotta questions inside me, but I never bothered!

I went to Auditorium and searched for her, but she was not there!
I sat there n waited for her!! 5 minutes passed!

"Da, yar here huh? Am so sorry, I was sitting inside the nearby classroom", I heard her voice and turned!!
Swathi was standing in front of me! She looked beautiful!! I gone mad seeing a small bindi on her forehead!

"Is it quite unusual for you??,why you dint get this kinda feel for Aparna?", I asked myself!!

"Thats ok, so why you called me?", I asked her!
"We will sit and talk", she replied!
"Lets sit here" she told as she pointed out the chair at the first row of VIIth "B" class!!"
I guess, that's the first time in my life I sat in the first row of a class room!
"First bench??? I'll better stand....is that ok??", I asked her
"Yar on crazy gooze da", she said!
"Ofcourse, I am"
"So where do you want to sit??", She asked me!
"Last bench, do you have any doubt?", I smiled!
"I expected this", she smiled.

"So whats up??", I asked her!
"Actually I want to tell ya something and that's why I called you here", she replied!
"Why cant you tell that in our classroom? and why you want to tell that here where nobody is available!?", I asked her
"Because what am gonna tell is something special", she replied!

"Is she is in love with me??" I asked myself!

For any guy, this is the best thing that he can hear from a beautiful girl!!

"Is this is what you wanted to tell me??", I asked her!

"Come on dude...don't be so formal, I expected you to say me I like you too", she told!

"You may expect me to tell that, But I wanna tell you something different!
"Whats that?", she asked!

"Yeah, am damn sure", I said!

"Well well well, its one of my long time wish and whenever I feel that, I had always feared like what my parents will feel bout me", she puzzled!
"Wat exactly you wanna say??", I lost my patience!
"Cool buddy, why are you so curious??", she asked me!

"If a girl like you call a guy like me to a place where nobody is available and tell that you wanna tell me something very special, even a dumbass guy will go curious and for your information am not a dumb ass too!!", I replied!
"Yar so funny dude, I like that", She replied!
"Enough of yar discoveries, and now don't test my patience", I told!
"Done, here it is", She started!
"Yeah, atlast...come on", I replied!

"I WANT TO ADOPT A CHILD", she told!

I expected something and she told me something!! Is she doing this purposefully???? If its so, then FUCK the girl's attitude!!


"Oh really, that very sweet of you, good", I said!
"Yeah, I always wanted to share this to someone and yarr the first now", she told!
"My pleasure", I said
"Come on dude, don't be formal again"
"So is this is what you wanted to tell me?", I asked her
